SKU: Fixie_Urban-Bullhorn-1 Category: Tags: , , , , ,

The Studds Urban Bull Horn is a beautifully engineered singlespeed/fixie with a Quando flip flop hub making it a fixie or a singlespeed bike with a freewheel, depending on the riders preference. It has been carefully designed in Australia with daily commuters and recreational riders in mind and parts selected by us including a good quality sealed bottom bracket which is so often overlooked.

It has an intermediate ratio of 46-16 which will allow you to get up most hills. However, the chainwheel can easily be changed to a larger or smaller one without replacing the whole crankset should you prefer a different ratio at a later date.

With its deep dish 700C rims and matte black finish, the urban has been designed with reliable riding and good aesthetics in mind. We also keep our prices down by supplying direct from our warehouse to your home or office within 5 working days.

Size Guide

There’s a touch of personal preference when it comes to choosing the right size. Saddle height can be adjusted to suit, so actually the main difference is the reach to the handlebars. If you’re finding it difficult to decide between 2 sizes, then a useful tip is if the distance of your wingspan (fingertip to fingertip with outstretched arms) is greater or equal to your height then you should choose the larger size.

S/M (48cm) – Suitable for riders 5’0″(152cm) – 5’6″(169cm)
Large (56cm) – Suitable for riders 5’7″(170cm) – 5’10″(177cm)
XL (60cm) – Suitable for riders 5’11″(178cm) – 6’4″(193cm)

I’ve had this bike for a few weeks now and love it! I’ve used it for everything from short rides to the shops to a 50km sub 2 hour cycle along the coast, and it’s performed great for all. James was also a pleasure to buy from – I think I’ll head back in soon to buy the drop handlebars for my future long cycles 🙂

This is a very impressive bike for the money. I have a Pinarello which I use for “serious riding” but for my 30km return trip to work, this bike is a ripper. It is solid, yet surprisingly light and it loves being thrown into the corners. It really makes for a great “town bike” and I thoroughly recommend the Bull Horn Bar setup. Gangs of fun.
